This is the forum's Admin. Hi!

My name is Mariarosaria Comunale, I am from Trieste (Italy) and I work as Principal Research Economist at the Bank of Lithuania (Lietuvos Bankas). I graduated at the University of Rome "Tor Vergata" and I was visiting the University of Cambridge, Trinity College Dublin, De Nederlandsche Bank, ECB, and the OeNB. I am also a Research Associate at the Centre for Applied Macroeconomic Analysis (CAMA), Associate Editor for Baltic Journal of Economics and Researcher/lecturer at Vilnius University.

My research interests:

Applied International Macroeconomics, Econometrics (Panel data, Bayesian methods), International Finance, Monetary and Macro-prudential Policy, International Economics. I use these tools for analysis on current account imbalances, foreign capital flows, financial and real cycles, Exchange Rate Pass-Through, Real Effective Exchange Rate assessments, EU integration and Eastern Europe.
